Summary

Bixby continues to hallucinate and seems to be contacted by the spirit of Hunter Rose, commanding him to find his skull, which Bixby calls the Relic. He starts a long journey up towards New Orleans in search of it.

Calhoun, who lives in New Orleans, kills a card cheater and continues to win at gambling--then donates his winnings to a children's home.

Gloria continues the search for her own art treasure, and makes her first kills in the process. Gloria and Mantovani both end up in New Orleans and search through the local Grendel Krewe for answers to their quests.
